MEET ABI
Abi Kumar is a certified story teller based in Coimbatore, India.
A student of Kathalaya, Mentee of the legendary story teller Geetha Ramanujam, Toastmaster, Psycologist and a Narrative Therapist, Abi brings forth a wholesome package of story telling.
Abi grew up under the tutelage of her grandparents in a village in Tamilnadu, India, enriched by the story they dinned into her, ranging from folklore to magic, mythology to epics. Hence it would be apt to say that Abi didnt choose storytelling, but storytelling chose her!
Her ability to dig out treasures from the long eastern literature and narrate it, the way that appeals to the modern world sets her apart from the crowd.
Abinaya also indulges her passion for storytelling in many ways: through helping children create their own stories, by working with teachers to give them insight into the creative process and, of course, by telling stories whenever she can to whoever will listen.
